• We recognize that are all saved by grace, and that all are on the same spiritual journey.
• Rather than a one-person platform, we are congregation-run.
• While many serve in leadership roles, it is not a hierarchy. No one person is more important than the other.
• Ministry here is not gender-limited.
No one will point a finger or enumerate your failures at New Hope! We want the abundant love and grace God has given us to overflow into others. What that means is we avoid judgmental attitudes, have respect for each other, and extend kindness and encouragement unconditionally. Our sermons will not burden you with guilt, things like you don’t do enough or do it well enough. In Christ we have been set free! There is a lot of joy at New Hope Chapel.
Rather than finding identity in a man-created theological statement or catechism, we go directly to the Word of God for counsel and understanding. Jesus Christ is honored every Sunday in worship and teaching for His saving work on the cross and victory over death. We rejoice in the security of our salvation. We run the race with our eyes trained only on Jesus.
You won’t get platitudes here! At New Hope we dig deep into a passage or topic to move beyond superficial interpretations to find something fresh to chew on. Our qualified, dedicated team of teachers love and absolutely respect the Word of God.
All people are unconditionally loved and important to God. So we treat each other accordingly. Our children are known and loved—and are included into church life as much as possible. Every single person matters at New Hope Chapel. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey—you’ve got a place here.
Please sit back and enjoy your time with us. We will gladly welcome you and your family and be honored that you have come. No matter where you are in your relationship with God, we want to help you to move forward. A loving community is here for you. Everyone belongs. No exceptions. No asterisks.
