Sunday Mornings at New Hope Chapel

What to expect at our 11:00 service

• We will begin with an opening song, followed by a welcome and announcements.
• Community Prayer Time, when needs as well as praises are lifted to the Lord as one body.
• Our worship team will lead us in 20 minutes of praise to God with contemporary music as well as hymns.
• A teaching team member will speak for about 30 minutes. (Children age 4-8 are dismissed for their own Children’s Church session.)
• We will dismiss the service at approximately 12:15 pm.

Depending on the calendar week, each month, there will also be:

• Second Sunday: Communion (you will stay seated for this.)
• Third Sunday: Missions Moment
• Fourth Sunday: Inside New Hope Chapel (a pastor update on current church issues.)

Other Sunday Morning Happenings

Sunday school classes for children begin at 9:45 and finish at 10:30. Our classrooms are at the back of the building, accessible through the two hallways at the back of the Café. Please drop off and pick up your children. You can find out more by emailing Kristin@newhopechapel.org.

An adult Sunday school class is held during the same time period, from 9:45-10:30. This is a discussion-based group that goes through books in the Bible, moderated by Steve Coleman. We meet in the Library, located just off the café. All are welcome! You can get more information by emailing Steve@newhopechapel.org.

Infant/Toddlers’ Childcare is provided for the 11:00 service in the nursery, located behind the café. More information is available through emailing Kate@newhopechapel.org.

At 10:30-11:00, we all meet for a Coffee Fellowship in the café. This time is set aside to give us a chance to get to know each other or connect with those we already know. Refreshments are provided. Come and grab a snack and find a spot to sit! You will likely make a new friend or two before it’s time to move into the sanctuary for the service!
